1. Purpose

4. Recruitment of Volunteers and Interns

- Monitor progress, address concerns, and offer constructive feedback.
- Ensure volunteers and interns feel valued and integrated into the team.
6.3 Boundaries and Safeguards
- Volunteers and interns must not provide personal care (e.g., bathing, toileting, or administering medication).
- Volunteers and interns must not be left unsupervised with vulnerable individuals.
- Volunteers and interns must maintain confidentiality and avoid personal relationships with people receiving care.
7. Support, Well-being, and Recognition
7.1 Well-being and Emotional Support
- Volunteers and interns may encounter emotional challenges; therefore, support is available through debriefing and mentoring.
- An open-door policy encourages volunteers and interns to discuss concerns.
7.2 Recognition and Feedback

8. Handling Complaints and Disputes
